White Water District (West End)
The West End was officially established in 1903 and was annexed by Boise in 1912. As an industrial core well into the 1930s, the West End has undergone some major changes. One of the newest additions to the area is Whitewater Park and the Esther Simplot Park. Kayakers can challenge their whitewater skills without leaving Boise. Make sure you check out the annual food festivals sponsored by the Russian and Greek Orthodox churches.
