Meridian
Established in 1893, Meridian established itself as a dairy center for the state with the building of a creamery in 1897 – along with other dairy-related businesses. The annual Meridian Dairy Days celebrates this important piece of its heritage, and has been celebrated in one form or another since 1929. Meridian prides itself on being a family friendly community, retaining its small-town friendliness and style of living. It is also home to Blue Cross of Idaho and Scentsy, as well as the new retail center The Village.
